Exciting news & Sneak Peeks

Hi everyone,

I'm finally able to announce that I am joining a design team. OMG!! For the first time ever!

I am a DT member for a new online business - Crafters Cupboard

http://www.crafterscupboard.com.au

This is such a thrill for me as Jen and Angus from Crafters Cupboard are bringing in the FULL RANGE of PaperArtsy product from the UK.

They are the only online Aussie-based store to be doing this.

I can't begin to tell you how AWESOME these products are - Fresco Paints, Grunge Paste, Crackle Glaze and, of course, the stamps... Ink and the Dog, JOFY, Lynne Perrella...

I'm in heaven!

So, in celebration of all this delicious PaperArtsy goodness, Crafters Cupboard are going to Paperific, and I am demoing for them!!

http://www.paperific.com.au/

Here are some sneak peeks of just some of my samples and a bit of what I will be demoing this Friday and Saturday.  I hope that you can stop by the stand and say hello :)

So after we all get through the show, I will be regularly contributing to the Crafters Cupboard Blog with projects (including step by step how to's).  If there is enough interest in the different projects I have created then I will be running classes as well.

I am truly getting my art mojo back again :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Practicing Faces

One of the things that got me back into arting is doing the online workshop Supplies Me with the AMAZING Jane Davenport.

As part of the course we need to practice drawing faces.  Here are some of my practice faces for your amusement!

A fresh start

Hi everyone,

So this is a cross-post from my old blog.  A fresh new blog, for a fresh new art-start!!!

It's been a challenging few years for me, which included a complete hiatus from art.  But thanks to some good friends and the discovery of art journaling, I am back - with a vengence.

So I thought I would do a bit of a photo dump to kick start things. These pictures are from a journal I created whilst up at my sisters place. It was the winter school holidays, and I was recuperating from a pretty big knee operation, so my 8 year old niece and I created journals and did lots of art together.  It was pretty awesome!

I'll be back soon with some exciting news and some more pics.

Thanks for stopping by :)
